Multiphase Flow Specialist
$86K - $101K plus Superannuation

will suit a highly motivated professional in the Oil & Gas Multiphase domain, who is comfortable working both independently and as an integral part of a strong multi-disciplinary team of scientific researchers.

The successful candidate will participate in scientific studies and lead teams working on the development of projects in the I-Field and Production Optimization areas. A large component of the role will involve your interaction with the R&D communities in Australia and overseas to assist in the development of research at CSIRO.

Key capabilities we are seeking include:

* A strong knowledge of Multiphase Flow in production activities for the oil and gas industry;
* Well developed interpersonal skills to enable effective communication with industry people and researchers;
* A broad knowledge of the global R&D activities in the oil and gas industry;
* Research Methodology, knowledge of processes, techniques and experimental design in flow assurance problems.
* It is essential that you hold an MSc or PhD in Chemical, Fluid Mechanics, Mechanical Engineering or related area, and that you can demonstrate your capacity to undertake innovative and creative scientific research in conjunction with internal and external collaborators.
