The CPO ( Crude Palm Oil) futures for Jun contract open at 2589 and closed at 2591. The highest was at 2597 and the lowest was at 2571. The market ended higher with a white bar.

After the opening at 2589, the market immediately dropped to 2581 and bounced back to 2597, the highest of the day. At about 10.40a.m., the market started to retrace to 2576 before closing at 2582 for lunch break. In the afternoon, the market open at 2582, immediately dropped to 2571, bounced back and started to climb to 2597 before finally settled at 2591.

If you look at my forecast yesterday,see #4, and had placed a buy position here, say at 2594 , you would have definitely ended up losing your money even if your stop loss was 20 points below the buy position. Well, you can't win the all!

Today

My forecast for today;

If the market opens;
1.1) Between 2573 to 2584. Sell after the market has retraced passing down the levels between 2562 to 2567.
1.2) Between 2590 to 2600. Buy after the market has moved passing up the levels between 2605 to 2610.
1.3) Between 2605 to 2617. Buy after the market has dropped a bit and then moves up passing 5 points above the opening level.
1.4) Between 2556 to 2567. Sell after the market has moved up abit and then falls 5 points below the opening level.
1.5) Other than the above. It is up to you.....

CPO: Going Up?

Posted by Flora Sawita Labels: , , , , , , , , , ,

For the past few days the market has not shown any big fluctuation except on last Thursday. The market looks as if it is in the sidelines again. In any market, there are 3 main types of phases ; up going, down going and sidelines.

Today

The forecast for today is as follows;

1) If the market opens between 2150 to 2178. Buy after the market has moved up passing the level 2179 and then retraced to the levels between 2155 to 2160.
2) If the market opens between 2179 to 2180. Buy after the market has dropped to the levels between 2155 to 2160, OR;
3) If the market opens between 2148 to 2168. Buy after the market has dropped 7 points from the opening level.
4) If the market opens between 2169 to 2178. Buy after the market has moved up passing the level 2179 and then retraced to the levels between 2155 to 2160.
5) If the market opens between 2138 to 2147. Sell after the market has dropped and passsed the level 2137 and then moves up to the levels between 2155 to 2160.
6) If the market opens other then the above, it is your call....
7) Please refer to my postings dated 12th January 2009, see # 6.

To Fall Further?

Posted by Flora Sawita Labels: , , , , , , , , ,

Sorry everybody. I was not available to comment on my last forecast dated 3rd August due to some reasons (....actually I was overslept ). If you look at my forecast on that particular day, the market open at 2232 but due to the fact that the 13 points sell's situation suggested had already exceeded 2237 , so , theoretically, sell position was not supposed to have taken placed.

Today

In the short term, the market is still bullish but the very very short term is now bearish. My forecast for the day are as follows;

1) If the market opens between 2298 to 2334. Sell after the market has moved up 9 points above the opening level. Any way, just be careful here because if the market manages to beat up the levels between 2346 to 2351 especially if the market opens more towards the upper level of the 2298-to-2334 levels, the market may go further up or if the market opens between 2330 to 2341 and manages to beat up the levels between 2346 to 2351 - Buy here because the market may go further up and may end up a white bar today or at least in the early part of the trading day.
2) If the market opens between 2335 to 2344. Buy after the market has moved up passing the levels between 2345 to 2350. The market may go further up and a white bar may be formed today or at least in the early pasrt of the trading day.
3) If the market opens between 2288 to 2297. Sell after the market has retraced passing down the levels between 2278 to 2283. The market may fall further if these levels are to be broken.
4) If the market opens between 2263 to 2283. Sell after the market has moved up a bit and then falls passing 6 points below the opening level or sell after the market has dropped 6 points below the opening level.
5) If the market opens between 2350 to 2357. Buy after the market has dropped a bit and then moves up 5 points above the opening level or buy after the market has moved up 6 points above the opening level.
6) If the market opens besides the above.....it is your call
7) Please refer to my posting dated 12th January, see #6.

CPO Market Directionless?

Posted by Flora Sawita Labels: , , , , , , , , , ,

The CPO ( Crude Palm Oil) futures for October contract open at 2090 and closed at 2098. The highest was at 2116 and the lowest was at 2085. The market ended lower and was a white bar.
.
The market open within the forecasted level but it did not really follow what was suggested.

Today

In long term, the market is still bearish ( see enclosed chart ) but the very very short term, the market looks like it is bullish now. The forecast for today;

1) If the market opens between 2106 to 2116. Buy after the market has managed to pass the levels between 2122 to 2127. If this happens, the market may go further up and may end up a white bar or at least in the early part of the trading day.
2) If the market opens between 2089 to 2099. Sell after the market has passed down the level between 2079 to 2084. If the market manages to pass down the levels between 2073 to 2078, the market may fall further.
3) If the market opens between 2065 to 2083. Sell after the market has moved up a bit and then falls 5 points below the opening level.
4) If the market opens other than the above, it is up to you guys......how do I know anyway.
5) Please refer to my postiong dated 12th January ( see # 6)

If you are not sure, just contact your dealer but not your maid....she is more interested in going back to her country, be it Indonesia or Philiphines...

Where About Now

Posted by Flora Sawita Labels: , , , , , , , , ,

The CPO ( Crude Palm Oil ) futures for September contract open at 2268 and closed at 2336 yesterday. The highest was at 2340 and the lowest was at 2267. The market ended higher with a white bar.

The market open at 2268, immediately dropped a point to 2267 , the lowest of the day, and
then moved up to 2315 before closing at 2315 again before lunch. In the afternoon, the market kept moving up to the highest of the day at 2340 before finally settling down at 2336. ( see enclosed graph ).

If you look at my forecast yesterday ( see #1), the market open exactly at 2268 and managed to beat up the levels 2291 to 2296 at about 10.40a.m. If you were to place a buy position here as suggested, you would probably have made profits from 15 to 20 points just before lunch and had you decided to prolong in the afternoon, the profits could be from 15 to 50 points. How about me ? You may ask. Well, if you could regain your loss on the day before yesterday plus some profits, what more can you say. The market did beat up the levels between 2304 to 2310 ( see #1 ) and also move further up.

Have a nice trading day, guys....

CPO Futures - Indecision

Posted by Flora Sawita Labels: , , , , , , , , , ,

The CPO ( Crude Palm Oil ) futures for September contract open at 2275 and closed at 2250 yesterday. The highest was at 2275 and the lowest was 2231. The market ended lower and was a black bar.

If you look at my forecast yesterday, the market open at 2275 and was at the upper part of the 2228-to-2289 levels but , after opening, the market kept falling down until it settled at 2250. Well, I made a loss -what else, after queing at 2260 and I had to sell to minimise my lose at 2240. As usual, you can't win them all.

Today

In long run, the market is still bearish but at this point of time , I think the market is in the indecisive situation. So my forecast for today :

1) If the market opens between 2268 to 2284. Buy after the market has moved up passing the level between 2291 to 2296. If the market manages to beat up the levels between 2304 to 2310, the market go further up.
2) If the market opens between 2233 to 2243. Sell after the market has retraced passing down the levels between 2223 to 2228.
3) If the market opens between 2207 to 2228. Sell after the market has moved up a bit and then falls down 6 points below the opening level. Jusat be careful here!
4) If the market opens above 2287 and then falls 'a bit ' below it and then rise again beating the levels between 2291 to 2297, the market go further up
5) If the market opens between 2304 to 2325. The market may go further up.
6) If the market opens other than the above, it is your call, Mike.
7) Please refer to my posting dated 12th January 2009 ( see #6)

CPO August Futures Drops Sharply

Posted by Flora Sawita Labels: , , , , , , , , ,

The Cpo ( crude palm oil ) futures for August contract open at 2609 and closed at 2499 yesterday. The highest was at 2626 and the lowest was at 2480. The market ended lower and was a black bar.

The market open at 2609 and immediately retraced to 2604 and then shot up to 2626, the highest of the day, at about 11.00a.m. before retracing to 2570 before lunch. In the afternoon, the market started to fall further down to the lowest of the day at about 5.40 p.m. and finally settled at 2499 ( see enclosed graph ).
If you look at my forecast yesterday ( see # 1 ), the market open at 2609 ( between 2600 to 2637 ) and at 10.57 a.m. , the market managed to touch 2020 ( 11 points above the opening level ) and had you placed a short position here, you would have been able to make profits of at least 50 to 60 points if you decided to close position just before lunch. If you had decided to prolong, you would have been making a lot more profits for the day.
The market also open at the lower part of the 2600-to-2637 level and also did retrace further after the levels 2578- to -2583 were breached. ( see also # 1 )

Have a nice trading day, guys.

Still Bullish?

Posted by Flora Sawita Labels: , , , , , , , , , ,

Yesterday the August contract was the new active month for CPO futures which ended lower with a white bar. On the whole, the market is said to be in bearish position now.

Today

In the very very short run, the market is still bullish. So my forecast for today's market is as follows;

1) If the market opens between 2538 to 2593. Buy after the market has retraced 13 points from the opening level. Be careful if the market's fall is in a very fast mode. If the market manages to beat up the level between 2608 to 2615, the market may go further up especially if the opening is more towards the upper part of the 2538-to-2593 levels. Make sure the 13 points range do not exceed these levels when the market opens. If the market manages to beat down the levels between 2500 to 2508, the market may fall further especially if the market opens more towards the lower part of the 2538-to-2593 levels. Make sure when the market opens the 13 points range do not be in these levels.
2) If the market opens between 2594 to 2603. Buy after the market has passed up the levels between 2608 to 2615.
3) If the market opens between 2528 to 2537. Sell after the market has passed down the levels between 2516 to 2523. The market may fall further if the levels between 2500 to 2508 are breached and a black bar may be formed today or at least in the early part of the trading day.
4) If the market opens between 2503 to 2523. Sell after the market has moved up a bit and then falls 5 points below the opening level. See also the bold letters as in # 3 ( if the market opens between 2513 to 2523 )
5) If the market opens other than the above, it is your call........
6) Trendlines?...If you are fimiliar with trendlines, look for 3 tops or 3 bottoms.

Where To Now?

Posted by Flora Sawita Labels: , , , , , , , , , ,

Yesterday the market open and closed at the same level, that was at 2660. In Japanese candlestick the bar is called doji. When the market opens and closes at the same level, the market is said to be in indecisive position. So, will today's market be indecisive situation as well?

`
Today

In long run, the market is still bullish but the very very short term, the market looks like it is bearish now. My forecast for today is as follows;

1) If the market opens between 2661 to 2710. Sell after the market has moved up 12 points above the opening level. Make sure that this 12 points up are not within the range of the level 2710 when the market opens. If the market manages to beat up the levels between 2726 to 2733, the market may go further up especially if the market opens in the upper part of the 2661-to-2710 levels. If the market manages to beat down the levels between 2640 to 2646, the market may fall further especially if the market opens in the lower part of the 2661-to-2710 levels.
2) If the market opens between 2711 to 2721. Buy after the market has moved up beating the level between 2725 to 2730.
3) If the market opens between 2650 to 2660. Sell after the market has retraced beating down the levels between 2639 to 2645.
4) If the market opens between 2726 to 2746. Buy after the market has dropped a bit and then moves up beating 5 points above the opening level.
5) If the market opens between 2625 to 2645. Sell after the market has moved up a bit and then falls 5 points below the opening level.
6) If the market opens other than the above.....I don't know Mike...

Forecast of The Day

Posted by Flora Sawita Labels: , , , , , , , , , ,

The market has managed to achieve its highest point for the past six months at 2648 and will this level be able to be broken is yet to be seen. Some analysts have also predicted that the CPO futures prices would be linggering at 2600's level at this year around. Whether the market will move further upwards or downwards drastically is hard to forecast.

Today

In the long run, the market is still bullish but the very very short run, the market is bearish now.

The forecast for today:
1) If the market opens between 2471 to 2495;
1.1 Buy if the market has passed the levels between 2500 to 2506.
1.2 Sell if the market manages to pass down the levels between 2460 to 2466.

2) If the market opens between 2500 to 2520. Buy after the market has dropped a bit and then moves up passing 5 points above the opening level. This would be more significant if the opening level is at the lower part of the 2500-to-2520 levels.

3) If the market opens between 2445 to 2466. Sell after the market has moved up a bit and than falls 5 points below the opening level. More significant if the opening is at the upper part of the 2445-to-2466 levels.

4) If the market opens other than the above, it is your call. If not sure, just stay aaaaawaaaayy

Market To Go Down?

Posted by Flora Sawita Labels: , , , , , , , , , ,

For the past 4 trading days, the market has been linggering between 2120 to 2210 levels. Does this indicate that the market is still in the sideways phase? It seems that the market would still be moving between these levels unless the levels 2220 or 2110 are breached. As for this situation, the strategy that is recommended to be used is to sell where you are supposed to buy and vise versa.

Today
.
In the long run, the market is still bullish but the very very short run, the market is bearish. The forecast for today;

1) If the market opens between 2153 to 2178.
`` 1.1 Buy after the market has moved up passing the level 2184 to 2190. It would be more significant if the market opens more towards the upper part of the 2184-to-2190 levels.
`` 1.2 Sell after the market has retraced passing down the levels between 2142 to 2148. It would be more significant if the market opens more towards the lower part of the 2153-to-2178 levels.
2) If the market opens between 2140 to 2152. Sell after the market has gone up a bit and then falls 5 points after the opening level or sell after the market has touched the level 2168.
3) If the market opens between 2184 to 2192. Buy after the market has dropped to the level 2163.
4) If the market opens other than the above, it is your call.

Going Up To Continue - April Fool ?

Wednesday - 1st April 2009

8.50 a.m. - Malaysian Time

The CPO ( crude palm oil ) futures for June market open at 1990 and closed at 2000 yesterday. The highest was at 2002 and the lowest was at 1977. The market ended up higher and was a white bar.

The market did not open within the forecasted levels, so no gain or loss was acquired.

Today

In short run, the market is still bearish. In the very very short term, the market is said to be a little bit bullish. The forecast for today;

1) If the market opens between 1979 to 2002 . Buy if the market moves up beating the levels between 2010 to 2016. It would be significant if the market opens more towards the upper level of 1979 to 2002 levels. Sell if the market passes the level between 1966 to 1972. It would be more significant if the opening is more on the lower level of the 1979 to 2002 levels.
2) If the market opens between 2011 to 2020. Buy after the market has dropped a bit and then moves up passing 5 points above the opening level.
3) If the market opens below 1945. The market may go further down and may end a black bar today.
4) If the market opens above 2060. The market may go up further and may end a white bar today.
5) As usual, if the market opens other than the above, it is your call. I have no idea guys.
6) Please refer to #7 on yesterday's forecast.

Some Say Market Is Going Up

Posted by Flora Sawita Labels: , , , , , , , , , ,

Friday - 20th March 2009

9.02 a.m. - Malaysian Time

The CPO ( crude palm oil ) futures for Jun contract open at 1925 and closed at 1911 yesterday. The highest was at 1945 and the lowest was at 1893. The market ended a black bar.

The market open at 1925 and immediately shot up to 1940 at 10.31 a.m. ( see A ) and moved further up to 1945 , the highest of the day, at about 10.32 a.m. ( see B ). The market then retraced steadily from 1940 to 1930 for about
7 minutes. ( see C to H ) and closed just before
lunch at 1927. The market moved further down in the afternoon and finally settled at 1911.

If you look at my forecast yesterday ( see # 1 ), the market open within the forecasted level and moved up steeply to 1945 from 1925, a difference of 20 points. This fast movement could have indicated a false alarm but the linggering of the market ( see x and y on the graph - also see my previous postings on this matter ) between 1930 to 1940 showed that the movement could not have been the false alarm.

So had you decided to short ( if you were not sure, just stay away from the market ) , say at 1935 or even at 1931 - 6 points above the opening level - you would have been able to make a profit of 10 points , if you decided to close your position before lunch. If you prolonged your decision to close your position after lunch, the profits aquired could have been from 20 to 40 points.

Today

Well, due to some reasons, I am not able to do any forecasting for today. Those who have been following my blog may probably have the idea of how to go about forecasting the market today.

Have a nice trading day, guys!!!

Running Out Of Luck ?

Wednesday - 18th March 2009
8.45 a.m . - Malaysian Time

Sorry for not being able to analyse my forecast on last market performance on Wednesday dated 11th March. This was because I encountered with some internet technical problems with my service provider. In fact on 12 and 13th of March I was left stranded and not able to access my internet service at all. This is what technology is all about. If it fails, there is nothing you can do. You can simply just look at the sky and blink your eyes.

Enough of this nonsense, let's us talk about dollar and sense now. If you look at the chart, the market may look like establishing another sidelines unless today's market ends a black bar and lower than yesterday's bar.
.
My forecast for today;
.
1) If the market opens between 1918 to 1940. Sell after the market has passed down the levels between 1908 to 1913.
2) If the market opens between 1903 to 1913. Sell after the market has moved up a bit and then falls 5 points below the opening level. The market may fall further if the levels between 1892 to 1897 are breached.
3) If the market opens between 1945 to 1948. Buy after the market has moved up passing the levels between 1953 to 1960.
4) If the market opens between 1953 to 1962. Buy after the market has retraced a bit and then moves up 5 points above the opening level.
5) If the market opens other than the above. I don't know, it is your call, don't ask me, my luck is running out!!!!!
6) Please refer to # 6 ( posting dated 12th January 2009 )

Ok, that's about it. If you are not sure, just contact your dealer.

8.45 a.m. - Malaysian Time

The crude palm oil ( CPO ) futures for May contract open at 1930 and closed at 1890 yesterday. The highest was at 1930 and the lowest was at 1882. It was a black bar.

The market open within the forecasted level but not the direction and movement of the market. So, again, no further analysis is to be made today.

Today

In long run, the market is still bullish but in the very short run, the market is now in the uncertainty situation. My forecast for today ;
~
1) If the market opens between 1882 to 1904:
~~~~Sell after the market has passed down the levels between 1872 to 1877. Any profits, just lock them up!
~~~~Buy after the market has moved up passing the levels between 1908 to 1912. Any profits, just lock them up!
2) If the market opens between 1857 to 1877. Sell after the market has moved up a bit and then falls down passing 5 points below the opening level.
3) If the market opens between 1908 to 1930. Buy after the market has retraced a bit and then moves up 5 points passing the opening level.
4) If the market opens between 1935 to 1945. The market may go up further and a white bar may be formed today or at least in the early part of the trading day. ( Buy after the market has retraced a bit and then moves up 5 points above the opening level).
5) If the market opens other than the above forecasted levels, it is just simply your call!
6) Please refer to #6 ( 12th January's posting )

9.00 a.m. - A little bit of updating

The CPO ( crude palm oil ) futures for April's contract open at 1940 and closed at 1925 yesterday. The highest was at 1967 and the lowest was at 1916. It was a black bar ( or rather a blue bar ).

If you look at the chart, the market has been moving upwards for the past six days except for yesterday. Does this indicate that the market will be a black ( or rather blue ) bar today? Will the swing strategy be operational ? ( see my previous postings on swing strategy )

Today

In the long run , the market is said to be bullish but the very very short run, the market is now in the bearish situation. My forecast for today ;

1) If the market opens between 1926 to 1951. Sell after the market
has moved up 8 points from the opening level. If the market beats down the level between 1908 to 1915,the market will go down further especially if the the market opens more towards the lower part of the 1926 to 1951 levels. If the market manages to beat up the levels between 1965 to 1969, the market may go up further especially if the market opens more towards the upper level of the 1926 to 1951 levels. If you make any profits, just lock them up.
2) If the market opens between 1952 to 1961. Buy after the market has moved up and beats the level between 1965 to 1969. Any profits , just lock them up.
3) If the market opens between 1916 to 1925. Sell after the market has moved down beating the levels between 1908 to 1915.
4) If the market opens between 1973 to 1987. Buy after the market has fallen a bit and then moves up 5 points above the opening level.
5) If the market opens between 1890 to 1915. Sell after the market has moved up a bit and then moved down beating 5 points below the opening level.
6) If the market opens other than the above, it is your call. You can do whatever you like.
7) Trendlines.....any one ?
8) Please refer to #6, 12th January's posting.

That's about it. Please be informed that there are many other strategies that can be used in this market but the strategy shown above is one of them.

As usual, if you are not sure, do contact your broker/dealer or may be you can contact Tzipi Livni or Benjamin Netanyahu for more information. Do you think these species will help you?

Have a nice trading day, guys.

8.30 a.m. - Malaysian Time

Due to some technical problems with my computer especially after lunch, I was not able to give you the precise market performance on yesterday's CPO futures market. From what I know is that the market open at 1762 and closed at 1788.

The market open at 1762 and within minutes the market fell to the lowest of the morning session at 1741 and then moved up to 1774 before settling at 1762 again before lunch. If you look carefully at the market movement yesterday, the fast fall to 1741 could also indicate a false alarm ( sorry , no graph at this time ), anyway the market started to move up to a certain level ( ? ) and linggered there for quite a time. This showed that the fall was not really a false alarm. So, had you put a buy here - roughly at 1755 ( see # 1 on yesterday's forecast - 7 points below the opening hour ) you could have made some profits just before lunch break.

So, have a nice trading day, guys

P/s. What about the Israelis ? .......yak .....%$#^#@!

9.00 a.m. - Malaysia Time

Last Friday, the market for CPO ( crude palm oil ) closed higher while the soya bean's futures were traded low at CBOT. Yesterday the market was closed because it was a public holiday. So where is the direction for today's market?
.
Today

In the long run, the market is still bearish but in the very very short run, the market is bullish, so the forecast for today is something like this;

1) If the market opens between 1748 to 1769. Buy after the market has dropped 7 points from the opening level. As usual, just be careful about the false alarm and do not forget your stop loss.
2) If the market opens between 1770 to 1779. Buy after the market has moved up between 1783 to 1788.
3) If the market opens between 1738 to 1747. Sell after the market has beaten down the levels between 173o 1734. The market may fall further if the level between 1712to 1716 are broken down and a black bar may be formed today.
4) If the market opens between 1715 to 1737. Sell after the market has moved up a bit and then falls 5 points below the opening level.
5) If the market opens between 1780 to 1803. Buy after the market has dropped a bit and then moves up 5 points passing the opening level. Any profits, just lock them up!
6) If the market opens other than the above, it is your call. You can do whatever you like!!!!Trade , go out, watching tv or just like what I have mentioned ....whatever.
7) Also look for trendlines.......
8) Please refer to 12th January's post ( see # 6 )

Ok, that's about it. If you are not sure, just contact your dealer/broker or may be you can contact the President of United States, Ehud Olmert. ( Who is Barrack Obama, anyway! )

Have a nice trading day, guys......

Soya Bean Up ?

9.20 a.m. - A little bit of updating

The market for the past few days have been juggling and, some say, it is in the consolidating phase. It also means that the market is in the situation of having no clear direction. The market may start to move to a clearer direction if a certain level is broken out, most probably if the market opens below 1750.

Today

In long and short term, the market is still in the bearish situation. So is the very very short term. The forecast for today;

1) If the market opens between 1782 to 1814. Sell after the market has moved up at least 7 points after opening. Make sure this 7 points and above do not beat up the level 1814. Do not forget your stop loss. If the market manages to beat up the levels between 1815 to 1821, the market may go further up. Any profits, just lock them up.If the market manages to beat down the levels between 1773 to 1778, the market may go further down.
2) If the market opens between 1757 to 1781. Sell after the market has moved up a bit and then falls 5 points below the opening level.
3) If the market opens between 1815 to 1840. Buy after the market has dropped a bit and then moves up 5 points above the opening level.
4) If the market opens below 1750. The market may fall further down and a black bar may be formed today or at least in the early part of the trading day.
5) If the market opens other than the above, I do not know guys, it is your call. I still cannot figure out on how to enter the market even in this new year, may be next year, I guess.
6) Please refer to my posting dated 12th January 2009 ( see # 6 )

Well, that is it. If you are not sure, just consult your dealer/broker.......never to consult the Vice President of USA, he is a hard core Jew, never compromise with others.

To those who celebrate Chinese new year. Happy Chinese New Year - sorry, a belated one - better be late than never.

Have a nice trading day guys!!!!
