Hydrocarbon Resources Limited (HRL) part of Centrica Energy owns and operates the Morecambe Gas Fields, as well as operating and supporting third party fields within the East Irish Sea.

Our offshore Production Facilities, Onshore Processing Terminals and Support Base provide a complex and challenging operating environment. Within this vital part of Centrica’s business we now require an additional Process Engineer.
The Opportunity

The Process Engineer will provide process technical support for the safe and cost effective operation of onshore and offshore facilities within the Morecambe Fields, working within the Field Production Services Group, reporting to the Field Process Engineer. They will ensure that process plant performance is kept at optimum levels and also identify areas for improvement, undertaking trials and studies and suggesting the most economic option for future advances.

You will also be responsible for managing, initiating, monitoring and providing process input to plant modifications with a particular emphasis on waste management and the environment.

Developing the integration of various data reporting systems will also be a key responsibility and key decisions will centre around environmental and process improvements in areas such as plant availability and plant efficiencies.
