Ukraine exported about 2.0 million tonnes of grain between December 1 and 30, analyst ProAgro said on Tuesday.
The consultancy said in a report the volume included 1.56 million tonnes of maize, 413,000 tonnes of wheat and other cereals.
Wheat was mostly shipped to Spain (132,000 tonnes), Egypt (87,500 tonnes), Tunisia (63,000) while Ukrainian maize went mostly to Spain (349,200 tonnes), Egypt (252,000 tonnes), Iran (150,000 tonnes).
Ukraine's Farm Minister Mykola Prysyazhnyuk told Reuters last month grain exports were unlikely to exceed 1.9 million tonnes in December.
He also said Ukraine could export up to 9.0 million tonnes by year-end.
The former Soviet republic exported 6.9 million tonnes of grain in the first half of 2010/11 and 14.0 million in July-December 2009.
Ukraine harvested a record 56.4 million tonnes of grain in clean weight in 2011 against 39.2 million in 2010.
