• Provide an effective IS support and consultancy services to the business unit(s) clients. They are mainly in Petroleum and
Operation business domain such as Drilling, Production, Engineering, and Health/Safety/Environment
• Identify, analyse, specify, verify and manage the real User requirements related with IS means and document it properly
• Research, giving recommendation and implementation steps of the cost effective IS solutions to those requirements
• Collaborate with IS Correspondence or related Key Users in Business Area to oversee the business process review and
improvement by IS means
• Support and maintain existing in-house developed applications and third party packages used within the company (involve at
some level throughout the entire system or software development life cycle). Correspondence and collaborate with the vendor who
supports/deliver these application is a must
• To ensure that the appropriate IS project methodology is applied (project steering committee, requirement analysis, propose
effective and efficient IS solution, budgeting, planning) and get formal approval of Requester at each major step within a
project/action lifecycle (scope of work, blueprint, user tests, etc).


Required skills :

Education :


Bachelor Degree in Information Technology/ Computer Science.


Experience :


Minimum 5 years in same function or 3 years in Petroleum industry is preferable


Skills :


• Familiar with vast IT infratructures (WAN, servers system, PC / Windows environment and networking)
• Familiar with system development life cycle (having Programmer Analyst experience is prefrable)
• Application domain knowledge is a plus
• Ability to document all necessary business requirements
